By now, most of you will recognize Jason Anbara – his smiling face looks out from the front page of the Ottawa Sun most days, and his infectious enthusiasm for customer service is prominent on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and through the constant contact he has with the Ottawa community. One chat with Jason, whether it’s for a mortgage or to get his advice on finding another helpful professional, is all you need to understand how he has become National Bank’s Top Volume Producer in Eastern Ontario for 2012-2014, #1 Mortgage Development Manager in all Ontario year to date, Top 5 Mortgage Development manager in Canada and the constant winner of customer service awards
The Ottawa community proudly lays claim to Jason – but they can’t really! He was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and is one of the many East Coasters in Ottawa who knows the true secret of the Halifax Donair! From 1994 to 2000, Jason lived in Lebanon and attended Antonine Sisters School in Ghazir, where he not only learned to speak Arabic in six months, but did a pretty decent job on his French as well.
Returning to Ottawa in his late teen years, Jason finished high school and went on to the University of Ottawa, where he completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with honours in International Business and becoming MBNA, and later Bank of America’s top-selling Sales Associate. This led him into a management position, running a highly successful sales team.
As if that didn’t keep Jason busy enough, he has been constantly involved in the Ottawa social scene as a professional event promoter, bringing renowned electronic music acts to our humble city from as far away as Sweden and Italy, all with running his import/export business, managing several rental properties and helping his father keep Halifax Donair secret safe at the famous Centertown Resto-Bar on 422 Bronson Avenue.
If you haven’t figure it out yet, Jason is actually superman. Now a dedicated mortgage professional, Jason has built an excellent reputation on professionalism, true attention to his clients and solving problems efficiently.
